I Dr. Dinesh ponraj began my career as a health care professional where I joined Vinayaka Medical College to presume my undergraduate degree in bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. I chose to be a dermatologist and decided to specialize in dermatology which I learnt from the most prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai. After my successful graduation of my post-graduate degree in dermatology and venereology, my interest then slided to the most fascinating branch of dermatology called cosmetology. I took my first clinical fellowship in dermato surgery and cosmetology from Stanley medical college, Chennai. I then added one more post-graduation fellowship to my qualifications after completing my Masters diploma degree in Aesthetic Medicine from the United States of America’s Aesthetic Board, where i was fortunate to undergo a complete academic program and honed my skills under the guidance of renowned Aesthetic professors, who are the global pioneers in Aesthetic Medical Science today.
After few years as a dermatologist, I decided to extend my interest to become a sexual health physician. As a Sexual health physician, i strongly believe that every human living on this planet has the right and privilege to enjoy the art and science of sex properly and safely to fulfil their personal and social needs. I have learnt to expertise in treating any sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), male sexual disorders like erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, female sexual disorders like vaginismus, infertility due to sexual disorders including failure in consummation among married couples. I run my analysis through a team of Gynaecologists, Endocrinologist and Urologists so as to have a multi-disciplinary approach to accurate the diagnosis and so to provide the right treatment. I also engage with a team of counsellors who are experts in counselling the individuals of the Sexual Minority (LGBT – Lesbian/Gays/Bisexuals/Transgenders) on self-acceptance, parental counselling and safe sexual practices.
